Lara Art, expanded vision of Tomb Raider theme

I tested some AI tools to create a new fantasy based theme for the paintings idea. Some interesting setups were found and one of them was picked for the reference usage. At first, before any actual painting job, I did noticed a quite huge shield that Lara is holding. Also, her strange way to hold it is notisable weird and the angle of her right leg wasn't quite naturally bended (her side).

The overal look of the image is interesting but there is several problems to solve. I though that the shield itself is not a issue, I can fix it. So, I made it smaller and changed its angle to fit more natural way to hold it.

After that, I did first design of it. You can see it on my first blog page presented by LissuLiisa.

I kind of like the way Lara is holding the axe. The blade points backwards.  That might be a pure error of AI.

That error give me an idea about Lara surrounded by the horny orcs. She won't want to kill them, just putting them down, cently :)

 

Later, I found that her hand, which hold the axe is not following the human anatomy . It is simply too straight even looking about the right in some ways. I think that the core of the issues on the image is because the AI is creating those images by cutting and pasting several parts of the source images to one whole image. That way of proceed creates massive amount of faulties to end result.

So, I have to fix it again..

 

Almost done painting.

Now, I have correct the weirdies of the AI reference and the final art work is going to be almost done. This will goes on my own wall, so, the final finishing is done during the next few months. I have no hurry to make it fast, it takes time to make it perfect. So, here it is as allmost done.

I might update image time to time, but, because of limited abilibilities of the cameras to show natural colors, it might be pointless anyways. Her hair will be restyled and the other little details but the character itself is about right.

Latest state of the painting is here. You may noticed that I made her body even more an adult female type. That way the name of the painting "lust" becomes more understandable.

There is not much to do, some details such as her other glove is missing and the orcs can be better of course.

The happening itself is placed to some hill, top of it. So, the lighting is more like ambient lighting, even lighting.
