Now, what is coming next?
The Lara painting, the image of it, is now moved to the AI reference section page. It's state may change but basically it's almost done. The final version may include some hair styling and such fine tuning. Little changes won't show in the image so, no point to update it regularly.
LissuLiisa model
And down below, our first painting sketch about the subject. That is something I usually create at first when starting a new work with a model reference. I don't draw the sketch, it will be painted as fine tuned backround of the model. After that, I will let it dry some time and then, continuing with color shading.
If you are painter yourself or just photographer and trying similar modeling, don't forget to create some sort of protection for your doll.. in case it falls over. I have many images here without any protection but those images are just for image publishing. My dolls are always protected if left unattended.
In the picture, the doll is supported from behind by a bar stool with a folded blanket as padding. In front, there is a chair with a lot of cushions and a couple of pillows on top of everything. The purpose is, of course, that the doll doesn't fall over, but if it falls over, for example at night, it won't break, but it also won't get dents from being in the wrong position.
Work in process view
The painting is now in state where the faces should be about something similar than in the reference. It's far from the finish but the skin color shading is selected and the overal look is more or less right.
Latest update 22. Dec
Now, here we have the more forward made artwork. At the moment I'm designing the water type, perhaps something like that.. kind of natural look in the natural cave.
Around the doll model there should be some sort of aquatic plants but this is not yet tinted to the shade of water. That would be the next step before continue with the model itself.
Live camera has been setup
The old network camera has been setup for testing in progress live view. Use the account (visitor/visitor123) and select a single camera view, which gives you 1 min. video access. After that camera switch automatically 3 sec. refresh time of still image. This is for testing purposes only. The image quality of the webcam is poor and provides only the recognizability of the painting.
Only the paintings presented on this website are shown on camera. At times, a text sign may cover the camera view, indicating a non-public work.
