Let's talk about the money and services
Art selling & custom art
Prices & logistics
The overall price for a "Helios Hellious" painting is around €3000 when the artwork is delivered via client pickup (unframed paintings). The size of the canvas is adjustable, but the shortest side of the painting is recommended to be at least 80 cm. This is important to ensure the best outcome for the hero character's portrayal, as visualized by the artist. This recommendation is particularly relevant when the painting is displayed on a standard room wall, where the space itself limits the optimal viewing distance.
The maximum width for the basic art wedge trees in the painting is 125 cm, or the canvas will not hang straight on the wall. The material used for the canvas is high-quality linen fabric with a completely flat surface, allowing for detailed facial features to be created. New oil paintings may have uneven shine, but it will even out over time. A high-contrast look can be achieved using dammar varnish or other suitable removable or non-removable varnishes. This is not applied to the painting initially, but can be added after a minimum of one year by a professional framer if desired.
In principle, adding varnish to the surface of a painting can be compared to painting furniture, such as a table, with a brush. Anyone who knows how to use a brush can do it, as long as they choose the correct varnish. We can assist with this, meaning the buyer of the painting can also do the finishing themselves.
Custom art
Basically, all paintings created by the artists from the Helios Hellious site are considered custom art. The artworks presented here are not for sale; they are just samples of what you can expect from the artist.
If you have an idea but no reference images about it, you need to define it clearly to the artist via email. Any images that support your idea as references should be included in the email. After a brief email discussion, your idea will be sketched and painted as soon as you have paid for the necessary materials for your request.
Once the artwork is completed (typically within about six weeks), you will receive photos of your requested artwork. These photos are for your personal viewing only and are not intended for publication.
What happens next is up to you. You have the right of first refusal for the painting, but there is no obligation to purchase. If you choose not to buy the painting, someone else may purchase it. You will have the photos, but you do not have the rights to publish or resell them without owning the painting.
Logistics
The buyer of the painting can pick up the artwork directly from the artist, in which case handling and delivery costs are, of course, not charged. If the painting is to be delivered to the buyer (worldwide), the artwork is removed from the wedge frames and lightly rolled into a sturdy delivery box. It is recommended to take the rolled fabric to a framing shop for framing, although it is also possible to do it yourself.

You can leave a contact request or any other questions related to the purchase of art directly as a comment on the site. Comments will not be published without review, and contact requests or messages intended solely for the artist will, of course, not be published.
